Denny joined his father, Robert Getten Sr., and brother, Robert Getten Jr., in the family business in February, 1964. Denny is a loan officer and President of Getten Credit Company.
He was born and raised in Highland Park, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and still lives there today.
Denny has a warm and friendly attitude with all of his customers and goes out of his way to help them financially. He’s maintained the integrity of the company that his father started and looks forward to celebrating another 50 years of success.

Kathy Getten, Denny’s wife of 48 years, has been with Getten Credit Company for the past 15 years helping with day to day operations.
She often takes on responsibilities to create a pleasant environment in the office. Her presence allows the loan processing to go smoothly.
Erin is the granddaughter of Robert L. Getten Sr. and the daughter of Dennis Getten. She is a loan officer with Getten Credit Company. Prior to joining the family business, she worked with Wells Fargo Bank in Retail Banking for over 9 years.
She holds a B.A. in Business Management from the College of St. Scholastica. Erin has been with Getten Credit Company since May of 2008 and is very excited to be a part of the family business. She commits to continue the success that Getten Credit has established over the past 50 years.

Our History
Robert Getten, Sr.
Robert Getten Sr. started the Getten Credit Company with his son Bob Getten Jr. in August, 1961. Getten Credit was one of many independent finance companies during that time.

Over the years most of the others had faded, while Getten Credit had weathered through the financial storms of the late 1970s and early 1980s, which saw a stifling prime interest rate of 20.5%.

Getten Credit Company is one of a handful of independent finance companies remaining in Minnesota today. Our company prides itself on its warm, family fun atmosphere and always gives each customer a personal touch.
